4energia’s management has a unique longstanding experience of over a decade in the energy market, with a widespread skillset in every business area.
Holds a degree in Business Economics obtained from Università Federico II in Naples and General Management from Università Bocconi in Milano.
He started work in London with the international investment bank Citigroup, taking care of extraordinary financial operations (M&A and Capital Markets) with a focus on the energy market. Successively, he went on to build his career within ENOI group, participating in Finance Origination and International Business Development activities. After a period within BKW Italia group as Senior Power Originator, he returned to ENOI, where he contributed to the start-up of the Power Origination business unit (power purchase from independent producers), on top of coordinating M&A operations and the development of a network of proprietary stores for the sale of gas and energy to final clients.
Holds a degree in Electric Engineering from Università degli Studi di Cagliari.
He began his career in the energy sector at the same time as the beginning of the Italian Power Exchange working as an Energy Manager for the multi-utility Energ.it, which later on became part of the multinational Swiss group Alpiq.
Successively, he took on the responsibility of Scheduling and Dispatching for the independent trader Trafigura Electricity Italia, to then become part of BKW Italia group as the person in charge of Portfolio Management for the sales company Electra Italia.
He then moved to ENOI group where he contributed to the start-up of the Power Origination business unit and trading, and took part in the launch of the Swiss branch ENOI POWER SA group, working in Trading and Operations.
Holding a degree in Management Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, he then completed a Masters in Governance, Control Systems and Audits from Università Cattolica Del Sacro Cuore di Milano and a Masters in Energy Finance from MIP – Politecnico di Milano.
He began his career at Eni, working in Corporate Strategies and Planning. Following this experience, he went on to work at BKW Italia where he initially worked in Market Analysis, to then become the head of Risk Management for trading and sales activities. Successively, he contributed to the start-up of the Power Origination business unit and trading at the ENOI group, and took part in the launch of the Swiss branch ENOI POWER SA , working in Trading and Operations.
Holding a degree in Nuclear Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, he then obtains a Research Doctorate in Materials Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
He began his career working as a scientific advisor at ABB Ricerca to then move on to ApiMilano (Associazione Piccole e Medie Imprese di Milano), in the Environment and Safety Unit, where he was responsible for technological innovation and participated in the development of the ApiMilano Energia Consortium on behalf of industrial clients.
He successively moved to Electra Italia as an Operations Manager, where he specialized in operations, logistics and management within the energy markets. He then continued his career with BKW Italia group in as the manager in charge for the energy management of the Groups’ owned plants and was responsible for the commercial management of purchase contracts from large and small electric energy production plants. He also managed the Green Certificates portfolio of the company. Finally, he worked with ENOI group where he contributed to the start-up of the Power Origination business unit, where he was responsible for the acquisition of electricity from independent producers.
